ISLAND ENERGY SERVICES SELECTED BY DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY TO PROVIDE 1.5 MILLION BARRELS OF FUEL STORAGE AT ITS KAPOLEI TERMINAL FACILITY IN KAPOLEI, O‘AHU, HAWAI‘I

KAPOLEI, HAWAI‘I, October 26, 2022  – IES Downstream, LLC, an affiliate of Island Energy Services, LLC (“Island Energy”) is pleased to have been awarded the Contractor-Owned, Contractor Operated (COCO) Fuel Storage Services contract on the Island of O‘ahu, Hawai‘i today by the Defense Logistics Agency Energy. The contract will provide 1.5 million barrels of fuel storage for the U.S. military. “As a locally headquartered and managed energy company, we believe our years of experience serving Hawaii’s energy needs, along with our highly skilled workforce, a full complement of well positioned and maintained logistical assets, makes Island Energy Services uniquely qualified to provide fuel storage solutions to the Defense Department”, commented IES President and CEO, Jon Mauer.
