Hurricane Lala: Station Closures
Last Updated: August 15, 2026, 8:50 PM HST
A hurricane warning is in effect for Hawaiʻi Island and a tropical storm warning is in effect for the other islands. The safety of our employees, customers, and community is our top priority.
For the safety of our employees and the public, Waiākea Texaco, Downtown Hilo Texaco, Waikōloa and Matsuyama Food & Fuel Texaco in Kona are closed so our staff can safely secure their homes and be with their ʻohana. We are closely monitoring the situation and will reopen once it is confirmed safe to do so.
Public Safety Instructions
- Secure Your Property: bring in loose outdoor items and follow county guidance on shelter and evacuation routes.
- Stay Informed: follow updates from local news, the Hawaiʻi Emergency Management Agency, and your county Civil Defense.
We are in communication with local authorities and will provide updates as they become available.
